The tools I love!

Here you’ll find a list of of some recommended resources I use to run my blog, life and business on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. They generally just help me through life! I’ve tried lots of recommended resources and tools, some were great and others no so much. All my honest opinions. So here are the ones I 100% endorse (some are free and some are paid for).

Technical

1and1: I recommend this host to any new website owner looking for an inexpensive, easy way to start a self-hosted WordPress blog. Godaddy are who I previously hosted with, so they are worth a try too. However I recently transferred to 1and1 now IONOS and couldn’t be happier! They are popular, reliable and easy set up for such a low price. Plus, if you use IONOS – you could receive up £150 simply by being recommended by me!

Storage

Google Drive: With a huge amount of storage for free, you can’t go wrong with Google drive. It syncs across all my devices and I can even update documents offline. I save everything from photos to client service documents here.

Social Media

Tailwind: I am obsessed with Pinterest lately and I thank Tailwindapp for that. With this tool, I spend 20 minutes each week on Pinterest and I still manage to get new followers and repins. You can schedule pins, loop it and manage pins, all in one place.

Organisation

Trello: I would be lost without Trello. It gives me organisation for my projects and also allows me to collabate with others on projects.

Wunderlist: Same reasons as Trello although I tend to use wunderlist for shorter lists such as daily errands and food shopping. The app has a reminder so I never forget the little things!

Plugins

I have many plugins that I use, my favourite would be Yoast SEO – my others you can read on the post 5 Free WordPress Plugins For Bloggers

Images

Canva: Besides Photoshop, Canva is the next best thing. It’s web based and so easy to create templates and make quick images for your website
